I have a licensed version of iRecover and I am trying to use it to repair/recover from a I/O error on 1GB USB 3.0

I ran the iRecover and it completed in about 2 hours but I still cant access the drive in Win 10 Pro Explorer.

Help please...

TIA

Hello,

What do you expect from iRecover exactly? It does not repair disks. It extracts data from corrupt disks, that's the idea.

In case of IO errors beast general cause of action is:

1. Create image file of device. (select device > click more functions > create image file)
2. Recover data from the image file. (in disk/partition selection list > more functions > load image file)

Also see: http://www.diydatarecovery.nl/ir_guide/image_files.htm

General data recovery procedure is explained here: http://www.diydatarecovery.nl/forum/index.php/topic,368.0.html

I am hoping that I can reactivate the partition.

I also have DiskPatch but it did not find any partitions it could recover.

BTW I have now put the HD into another computer for faster operation
