All three drives imaged and copied to a network drive...

Scanning all three now and it's running like a turbocharger on steriods at 52Mb/sec....

Will let you know the results once they are available.

Thanks again for all your assistance

Sadly the file  I wanted was not to be found...   Sad

iRecover is a good product and will certainly be the first port of call if we have any other drive issues..

Thank you for taking the time to go through it with me

UPDATE...

According to LSI (kudos to them for assisting with request about a ten year old piece of hardware) the mismatch error IS down to the controller card.

We try, we learn, we sometimes lose files, but life goes on...................

I have been impressed with the service and software from you guys - if you would like some advertising, FOC, on some of our sites by way of a thank you let me know..

Thanks.

I'm not entirely sure what you're offering here, but to put it simple: we're a small company and any exposure we can get is welcome. There are no advertising budgets though...

Yup, would be FOC (Free of Charge) and would help with your S.E.O.

What email address should I contact you on?
