New issue (not related to my other thread):
I have another external hard drive that I would like to copy all the files from. It has a bunch of videos/pictures etc....
Windows does recognize it and I see the contents. I can even view pictures. But when I try to copy the entire contents to another drive, windows gives me an error message.
The reason I am copying is that I think the drive is dying. It makes some odd noises and it fails a short drive diagnostic.
I have now removed the drive and connected it directly to the SATA ports. I created a support analysis log file and a SMART log. Both are below.
I was going to clone the disk, but I figured I would chat with you first.
