Hello, I have a 2 TB internal drive that has started having issues. I've included the DP.LOG and would like to know if you think that one of your software packages would help to recover the data? I've just bought a 3 TB external drive to replace this one if needed and so that I can clone the drive. I've tried copying files from the affected drive, but some of the files won't transfer. I also did a chkdsk on the drive before reading that it may not be a good thing to do.

Please let me know what other information you may need. Thank you for your help.

Disk health is bad (for details we need the SMART log, http://www.diydatarecovery.nl/dp_manual/guide_smartcheck.htm) so the standard procedure would be to clone the disk and then recover files from the clone. You still have access it seems and some files are skipped because of read problems, so it's not guaranteed that cloning will lead to more files recovered, but it is certainly possible.
