Disk-Patch is truly a powerful cloner because it has a 2 step HDD cloning and an option to make frontwards and backwards, that is a very good option and to note that few HDD imagers provide a multi-pass imaging, truly Disk-patch was one of the few magnificents.

But the problem is that when imaging the HDD, Disk-Patch multipass imaging cannot be customized as a multiple imaging operation with different settings , instead it has a fixed option for both as a single imaging operation.
Both Imaging passes can only be configured to one setting, the skip factor when encountering a bad sector is chosen for both imaging passes.
We need to separate the skip factor for both imaging passes and if possible add a third step imaging pass so that if the user chooses a more imaging pass, he can activate the third imaging pass.

You have a point but you simplify things a bit too much.

The DiskPatch 2-pass clone is one process. You can configure the workings of that process. Pass 2 works as a direct result of pass 1 and therefore the two passes make one process. That is how we wanted this to work. Now, I get what you want but that is not how DiskPatch currently is designed to operate. We are however always thinking of how to improve the process and these suggestions will be noted.

I disagree here. However, there are a few things that I can do that would make using the current clone function easier IF you would want to use multiple passes. Simply said, run the clone process as many times as you want without damaging what is already on the target disk. That would functionally be the same as what you are suggesting. I'll look into that.
