I have got CHK-mate, and I am trying to restore some files that were transformed into chk...
I know that all of them are of mp3 format
Is there any way to override the check of various formats, since 5000 files are involved, and the process would take weeks, if not months (judging by the time required to fix 1 file...)
thanks in advance

Hello,

Yes. You need to enter the chk-mate.ini file in this order:

run chkmate > select location containing the chk files > click next. At this point open the ini file and remove all signatures except the mp3 one. Save the ini file and in chkmate, select a destination folder and click next.
