Hi Guys,

Im having trouble opening a saved scan state, i get the following error msg:

Failed to match a parity member while loading

Then it dumps out.

All the drives are connected and can be seen by windows, im trying to recover a damaged raid 5 drive. I scanned it over the weekend with the trial version and managed to get one folder back so purchased the new version and am now unable to get the saved state back up. it was a raid array of 1.4TB so quite big and scanning took a while to complete. As this is urgent i would really appreciate being able to bring up the saved state.
The log file is showing the following:

Init done - logging
File management init done with a status of 88
NT 6.1.7000 ; 3326 MB RAM
Open physical drive 00000100 success, 465 GB : ST3500320AS - Port 3, Bus 1, Target 1, LUN 0; maxLBA=976773168
Open physical drive 00000101 success, 111 GB : WDC WD1200JD-00HBB0 - Port 2, Bus 0, Target 0, LUN 0; maxLBA=234441648
Open physical drive 00000102 success, 465 GB : ST3500320AS - Port 2, Bus 0, Target 1, LUN 0; maxLBA=976773168
Open physical drive 00000103 success, 465 GB : ST3500320AS - Port 4, Bus 0, Target 0, LUN 0; maxLBA=976773168
UNABLE TO CONTINUE:
Failed to match a parity member while loading
Unable to continue processing, program will now terminate.
Not a bug - data is probably beyond repair, or something is misconfigured.

ignore the second drive its the three 465gb ones im interested in.

Any help will be much appreciated

Cheers
Craig

Hello,

I am sorry, nothing I can do about that right now. Maybe not of help to you but perhaps to future users: Use a registered version for scanning those big disks and arrays so you can immediately start recovering. If it does not work we will refund: http://www.diydatarecovery.nl/FAQ_custservice.htm#F3

Thanks for the quick response Joep, although this is not much use to me.
Due to the time constraints around this i had to use another product to achieve the recovery as soon a poss.
Is it possible to recieve a refund for this as it was faulty in my case and how do i go about applying for said refund?
