Greetings, I've accidentally deleted files from a freeNAS box configured as RAID 5. The array is intact. What software will give me the best shot at recovering the files? Thanks.

That all depends but i think it will be tricky. NAS means no direct access, and most tools will require that. You'll need something pretty specific, also because the filesystem is not NTFS. If you have the possibility to access the NAS directly (not through network) and you can find something that understands the file system, then maybe. But i don't think so. Your best bet would be to contact the manufacturer. If it's custom built, then i don't have any suggestions other then starting a good backup strategy.
