Hi,
I'm trying to recover an 18GB hard drive on an older Dell system. The system won't boot up it's Windows XP operating system. It stops almost immediately stating bad or invalid partition. I tried to rebuild the partition using DP, as well as the boot record with no sucess. I've pasted the log file below. Can you please take a look at it and make an suggestions? Thanks for your help.

Mark

Hello,

I see at one point there were 2 active partitions. That is a trigger for the invalid partition table message. Log shows you correct that, so I will assume that is the situation we have now.

If the PC still doesn't boot it should say something different now bacause the partition table is now valid. Is this correct?
