i did it in Windows 7 disk manager.

DiskPatch seems to find and recover the partition as you can see from the log file above.  The problem is that Windows sees this as RAW rather than NTFS format.

Hello,

Normally the partition is formatted unless you specifically check the option not to format the partition. The boot sector of the partition suggests it has been formatted (file system NTFS). You can recover this partition over and over, it's condition will not change however. The partition table is ok, the boot sector is ok, and the boot sector points to the start of a valid MFT. That's all DiskPatch can do. Use iRecover to salvage the data from this volume.

I brought that up already:

With regards to purchasing iRecover: In one of the emails you have received after purchasing DiskPatch, there is an URL whcih will lead you to an iRecover discount. If you plan on keeping DiskPatch use this discount URL to purchase iRecover. It is only valid if you hang on to DiskPatch. If you want us to refund DiskPatch, please purchase iRecover from our online shop. Sent me the order ID for DiskPatch by email or private message so I can refund that.
