Hello,

No. Nothing new. Too bad, we can't fix that volume then. It is weird that we find no volumes starting near the start of the disk. It appears the rebuild has done more than rebuilding or disk structures were even corrupted before the rebuild. This could also have consquences for iRecover.

I'd run iRecover one more time. After having selected the physical device (the array in single volume mode), select define volume manually. Pick the option "there was only one volume ....", then select the user input option and scan that.

If iRecover fails to come up with valid files, then it's one of two: either iRecover is making mistakes, or the volume is to inconsistent to rebuild. The latter can be verified by using another data recovery tool. My suggestion would be file scavenger from www.quetek.com.

Irecover is finding the files I want, it just lists them in red

Does this mean that the files are not recoverable  ?

Thanks.

By the way...  Thanks for the help so far. I really appreciate it.

With the options set as suggested a nasty message came up about there being no files to recover Sad

Hello,

One remaining option is to take out the disk that was added last, and with the remaining disks let iRecover do a virtual RAID reconstruction. But before you do that I'd run the software I suggested before against all disks to rule out it is iRecover and not the file system that's giving you problems.
